Water Shrew
Gave its presence away with a series of tuneful high-pitched whistles that sounded like they came from the top of a stream-side bush! Watched down to 3 m range, it was quite confiding and spent quarter of an hour alternately burrowing into the stream bank then resurfacing and swimming under a log that was damming the waterflow. Hand-held, 1/250 sec, F6.3, ISO 400 + flash.
