Welcome to the ‘KowaPower Digiscoping & Photography Gallery’ featuring images by David H. Hatton. This site formerly aimed to act as a showcase and information resource on Digiscoping (photography combining a simple terrestial telescope with a digital camera) but has since expanded to showcase and sell my images taken mainly by means of digital SLRs.

The links on the lefthand side of this homepage enable you to navigate to different areas of the site. The Kowapower galleries link takes you to a choice of 11 galleries of images. These include the 'Kowapower favorites' gallery, which portrays examples of digiscoped images produced by myself over the past eight years. Now concentrating on SLR photography, I include a gallery of photos of a recent May 2009 trip to Lesvos, the Northern Bottlenose Whale rescue attempt in the Thames, a May trip to Finland for bears and birds, two recent autumn trips to Shetland and the stunning wildlife and scenery of a trip to the High Arctic and North Spitsbergen. A new 2009 gallery features images from one of my favorite areas in East Anglia - Westleton, Suffolk.
